I love the tempo, really interesting choice! I hear the Opeth vibes. I do think do away with the bitcrushing altogether, it doesn't need it.

Really enjoyed this! My only gripe is those chords at the end are amazing, there should be more of that in the middle of the track somewhere maybe?
Thanks for the review. Probably a good idea to incorporate those end chords more if I ever get around to extending this track.
Takes a while to get going, but the section at 0.55 has turned out quite well!
Sounds suitably nautical and adventurous! Well done on some great dynamics. My only nitpick is that the quiet section seems a bit long - I'd prefer a quicker build to that glorious section at 1 minute 20.
Top job :)
Hey wobwobrob,
Thank you very much for the comment! I'm glad you liked it.
The quiet duration was planned to keep you distracted from the repetitive main melody, but I understand if it felt a bit long for you.
Really enjoyed this! Loads of interesting things happening. I think it's crying out for some kind of massive hook it builds up to, but other than that solid! I enjoyed your guitars especially :)
There's no words that describe my gratitude for your kind words :)
Pretty interesting overall! I think there should be more vocal across the whole track rather than a small section half way through. I also think when you have little flourishes in the drums it really works, especially as the melody does a lot of movement. You should be cramming this track with loads of different drum flourishes to keep the interest.
Definitely something here, well done!
I signed up to Newgrounds based on your story! Hopefully gonna try a similar creative heat with my own work, but I just want to say thank you for inspiring me to start my own game audio journey :)
Seemed a bit weird to start but really swells into something wonderful! I'm a fan of this!
Really lovely sounds! LABS you say....
